What you doing on Wednesday?
The truth is putting yourself in a room of strangers is a weird thing to choose to do. I know that. You know that. We know that. And I'm not going to pretend the prompt cards make it effortless or that everyone immediately clicks. We're all human, beautiful and complicated at the same time.
I'll say this.
Putting yourself out there has its risks. But so does staying home. And if we don't put ourselves out there every once in a while, life would be boring, even predictable.
So here's what your Wednesday could look like instead.
You'll meet me and other neighbours in the community at a 200 year old pub in Angel. If you come early you could enjoy pints for £5 each (runs 4–7pm). If you come on time you'll still enjoy a 25% discount on your first round, plus 15% off drinks for the rest of the night, all included in your ticket. We'll be in a private room, just us. There's a card on the table with a question on it. Not so much "what do you do" questions. Your value is more than your job title. These questions go somewhere different. Every 10 minutes, you move, you meet someone new. After the rounds the kitchen might be calling, duck gyoza? Yes please. Korean teriyaki skewers, don't mind if I do. And if you're up to it, bottomless wings for £12!

Worst case, a night out in a lovely pub for a tenner.
Best case, you leave knowing someone you didn't know before.
If that sounds like your kind of Wednesday, grab your spot. Only 10 tickets left.
