🫶 So about last night

MNL Event: Know Thy Neighbour
You know that Eminem line from the song Lose Yourself? Palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. Yeah, that.
I was nervous and excited all day yesterday.
Tickets had sold out. My North London community were coming. Real human beings. But my goal was simple. If every person left having had one real conversation with a stranger, that’s a win.
By the end of the night people made many connections. A WhatsApp group was formed. And the prompt cards were abandoned. Not because they weren't working. Because they didn't need them anymore. That was the whole point. Before leaving, people asked if they could buy a set of Know Thy Neighbour cards.
I had to leave early to finish writing this newsletter. Thank you to everyone that came and all the feedback I received. You being there meant more than you know.
The last few weeks I have received messages asking to do another Know Thy Neighbour event. But around here we make decisions together.
Please vote below 👇
Should we do another Know Thy Neighbour event?
